Dawn Kameo
CEO/Founder
Dawn is CEO/Founder of Charlie's Hope. She is also a United States Air Force Desert Storm Veteran and Retired Firefighter/EMS at St. Joseph Fire Rescue. Dawn has spent the majority of her adult life being of service to those less fortunate and helping in their times of need. She is Mom to Charlie Woods and Jacob Facio and resides in Hudson, Wisconsin.
RANIA ELFAHAM
Rania Elfaham is the Secretary and a Trustee for Charlie's Hope. She works at Irvine Valley College, where she assists students with registration, resources and support services. Rania has always been passionate about helping others by supporting organizations that make a difference in people's lives. Through her educational and non-profit work, Rania strives to contribute to stronger, safer communities.
Jacob Facio & Yahayra Davila
Yahayra Davila and Jacob Facio began their journey together in August 2023 and wed in August 2025. United in purpose, they are dedicated to community service and empowering local organizations that deliver a profound, enduring influence.
Yahayra is a Trustee for Charlie’s Hope. A Tucson, Arizona native and Sunnyside High alumni, her commitment to advocacy was forged during her tenure as a legal clerk at the Mental Health Defender’s Office. There, she championed the rights of those navigating mental health obstacles. Her empathetic nature and creative drive fuel her mission to support the underserved and make a genuine difference.
Jacob is the Chief Financial Officer and a Trustee for Charlie’s Hope. He has proudly served in the United States Army for over 11 years and continues his military service today. Throughout his career, he has been stationed in South Korea, Fort Campbell Kentucky, Fort Huachuca Arizona and Vicenza Italy, where he and Yahayra currently reside.
